The Cummins Turbo Diesel engine that powers so many heavy duty Dodge Ram trucks can be easily recognized as modified if it blows smoke when in action but you really know that you’re in for a show when the engine churns out smoke at idle. The 2nd gen Ram in action in front of the pulling sled in this week’s Black Friday feature is one such truck with a heavy dose of white smoke followed by a monster plume of black and grey smoke as it tears across the dirt.
This big, bad Ram uses its 1250 horsepower Cummins diesel engine to sling dirt for almost 300 feet as it pulls the heavy sled – all the while spewing thick black diesel soot into the sky. It starts out a little questionable at first and you may think “I thought that this was going to be black smoke” but once this Ram gets revved up, it delivers every bit of black smokey goodness that you would expect on this weekly Friday feature. Crank up your speakers and enjoy!
