This week’s Black Fridays feature takes a look at five nicely built diesel trucks participating in a burnout competition. I will warn you that one of the five trucks is a Ford and while I generally avoid videos that have too much focus on non-Chrysler Group products – watching the four diesel Rams roast their tires is just too good to pass up.
The video begins with a black 2nd gen CTD Ram doing a burnout while another truck (that is hard to identify) does donuts off in the distance. The second truck is a 3rd gen Ram 3500 dually who gets into some series drifting action while smoldering all four rear tires. Third is the Ford Super Duty that actually does a pretty impressive burnout with lots of diesel smoke before we head to the 4th clip that shows a 1st gen Ram doing a great rolling burnout. Finally, the video ends up with another 2nd gen Ram with not a lot of diesel smoke but a whole lotta tire smoke.
My favorite is the 1st gen Ram because not only does it do a nasty, smokey burnout from a roll – it blows plenty of soot in the process and along with the help of a few other Rams and even a Ford, this is a great feature piece for DodgeForum’s Black Friday.
