Chrysler to be out in force at Woodward Dream Cruise

Fans of classic American iron are no doubt familiar with the Woodward Dream Cruise – a massive cruise night for all things Big Three, held every August since 1995 in the Detroit metropolitan area down Woodward Boulevard. Mopar fans planning to attend should pay extra attention when passing by the corner of Woodward and 13 Mile Road in Royal Oak, as Chrysler has something special in store for you. 

Mother Mopar will be firing on all cylinders this weekend, showcasing more than 75 vehicles from Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Fiat, SRT and Mopar brands in a special display, including the 600-horsepower 2013 Dodge Dart Rally Car, the 2013 SRT Viper, and more than a dozen classic vehicles from the Walter P. Chrysler Museum, as well as several Moparized cars and trucks. The Raminator Monster Truck will also be in attendance.

Chrysler’s newest goodies will also be on display, giving visitors a chance to check out the latest iterations of Uconnect technologies, Mopar Performance parts, and Pentastar merchandise.

SPEED TV’s certified Mopar fanatic Steve Magnante and Dodge reps will also be cruising Woodward Avenue in a 1970 Dodge Polara, talking with owners of current and classic Mopars, with the interviews to be streamed live on the Dodge brand blog, RedLineDodge. 

The festivities get underway starting tomorrow, August 15, so you’d better get that last coat of polish on, post haste!
