Recently, the SRT High Performance Tour kicked off with a small presentation at the Walter P Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills, Michigan.  The SRT marquee is a unique automotive brand with high performance vehicles from three different automotive brands and the newly formed performance division will take a similarly unique approach to advertising their new vehicles.

Rather than your normal television and print advertising (referred to as
Tier 1), Ralph Gilles, CEO of the new SRT brand, is taking their four
newest vehicles on a 40 stop tour around the United States to give
enthusiasts around the country a first-hand look at these awesome high
performance models. The tour will be finishing up at the 2011 SEMA Show
    in Las Vegas.

The SRT High Performance Tour includes a 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8, a 2012
    Dodge Challenger SRT8 392, a Chrysler 300C SRT8 and the 2012 Jeep Grand
    Cherokee SRT8
    – all of which are piloted by SRT brand engineers who are
on hand to answer any questions enthusiasts might have along the way.

The Tour officially began at the Chrysler Museum, but the first stop on
the three month long road trip was the Mopar Nationals at National
Trails Raceway in Columbus, Ohio.  DodgeForum.com was on hand for the
2011 Mopar Nationals and the four sexy new SRT models were tucked along
the race track at the end of the grandstands, offering a chance for
Mopar lovers to sit in and experience the new models, and also get a
chance to grab some free SRT swag and learn more about the SRT brand.

The goal of the SRT High Performance Tour is to spend advertising
dollars putting the new SRT cars and sport utility vehicle directly in
front of the people who are the most interested in seeing it.  Over the
next three months, these SRT engineers will stop at a wide variety of
events around the country, including NASCAR events, TORC truck racing
events, a couple dealership car shows and Mopar/SRT club events, before
reaching the end of their tour at the Las Vegas Convention Center at the
    SEMA Show.

SRT CEO and President Ralph Gilles had this to say about the SRT High
Performance Tour: “We’re excited to take our 2012 Chrysler, Dodge and
Jeep SRT vehicles directly to our performance fans and loyalists across
the country.  Each of these vehicles is loaded with new technologies and
content that SRT customers want to fulfill their need for power,
performance, contemporary luxury and safety while maintaining each of
the vehicle brand’s key design differentiators.”

The SRT High Performance Tour makes 40 stops before finishing up on
November 1st in Vegas. With stops all over the country, most Mopar
enthusiasts should have a chance to check out the Tour at a stop near
them.  Check out the list below for a closer look at the Tour schedule!
