The World’s Largest Gathering of Ram Trucks Happened in… Germany?

If I asked you to think of a place that represents truck culture more than any other place in the world, where would you say? Personally, I grew up in Texas, and the Lone Star State is still the largest truck market in the country, so I’d say there for sure. Places like South Dakota, Alaska, and Florida also come to mind.

What about Germany? More specifically, the world’s most challenging and dangerous racetrack: the famous Nurburgring, otherwise known as the “Green Hell.” Yes, this is not a joke, at least according to the Guinness World Records it isn’t.

Mind. Blown.

Apparently, over 1,152 Dodge and Ram pickup trucks traveled from all across Europe to meet at the daunting Nurburgring race track to break the record for the largest pickup truck parade in the world. Needless to say, they actually claimed the world record, and made for some hilarious photos and video footage. I mean, we’re used to seeing McLarens, Ferraris, and other insane machines lapping the Nurburgring, but this time it’s 1,152 American pickup trucks!

This rallyeoberehe The Nürburgring & Rally Channel video shows us the awesome trucks that paraded the track at pretty-steady speeds, posing for crowds filled with many folks who may have never seen a full-size American truck before.

Rock on, Germany!
