Reason #2 Why the Ram Truck is Better than Tundra

2012-Ram-3500-Heavy-Duty-fr.jpg2. The Cummins – Even though the Hemi powered Ram 1500 offers better towing and hauling capacity than the Toyota Tundra, there comes a time when a half ton truck isn’t quite enough.  When that point is reached by Ram owners, they are able to turn to the Ram HD lineup featuring the 5.7L Hemi or the 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel option with 650 horsepower and 800lb-ft of torque.  This diesel engine option makes the Ram Heavy Duty lineup the strongest in the industry, while Toyota doesn’t offer any sort of heavy duty truck at all. So when a Tundra owner needs to tow something that his Tundra cannot, he will have to make a trip to his local Ram, GM or Ford dealership for a real truck.
