Ram fans wanting a little more refinement in their truck will get their wish with the Laramie Longhorn Package for the Ram
1500, 2500 and 3500. They’ll have to have some deep pockets however, as early pricing has the Laramie starting at $45,700. That makes the Laramie the second most expensive truck sold by Chrysler ever. The top spot goes to the one rare Ram SRT10 Quad Cab. V10 Viper power justified it’s cost, but does luxury justify the Laramies? More Info after the jump.
The Laramie Limited Ram 1500 costs around $14,000 more than the current Ram 1500 ST with the same bed, cab and
drivetrain layout while also being slightly more than the $45,000 base price of
the original Dodge Ram 1500 SRT10. However,
the new Ram 1500 Laramie Limited also offers a level of interior luxury never
before experienced by Ram truck buyers, similar to the Laramie Longhorn but
without the western themed trimmed throughout inside and out.
The Laramie Limited package is also available with the Ram
Heavy Duty, with the new Ram 2500 wrapped in the luxury trimline starting at
$47,780. That includes the Crew Cab
design with a 6’4″ bed, rear wheel drive and the standard 5.7L Hemi V8. This puts the 2500 Laramie Limited second
from the top in the current Ram lineup with the unstoppable Power Wagon Laramie
starting at $51,230.
