Tire Shredding Tuesday: Dodge Ram SRT10 Quad Cab Destroys the Rear Skins
The Dodge Ram SRT10 Quad Cab was powered by the 8.3L V10 from the Dodge Viper SRT10, sending 510 horsepower and 525lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels by means of a 4-speed automatic transmission. The bigger Quad Cab Ram SRT10 wasn’t quite as fast as the regular cab models due to the added weight and the lack of the manual transmission, but that monster V10 power being sent to huge tires under an empty, lightweight bed made the SRT10 QC one nasty burnout machine.
This week’s Tire Shredding Tuesday features looks at one such Dodge Ram 1500 SRT10 Quad Cab in action on a big, open paved area with the 510hp V10 making very short work of the huge rear skins. This 30 second long rolling burnout might be what kids these days call “drifting”, but no matter what you call it, this Ram puts on one amazing smoke show – all accompanied by the sweet purr of the Dodge Viper V10. Crank up your speakers and enjoy!
