Here’s a V10 Dodge Tomahawk Super Gallery, You’re Welcome

The 2003 Dodge Tomahawk is, without question, one of the most unique machines to come from a big manufacturer in my 27-year lifetime. It’s such an oddity that, following an incredible response at the 2003 North American International Auto Show, the replicas that were built and sold in the Neiman Marcus catalog were listed as “rolling sculptures” and were not legal to ride in any way. Only nine total Tomahawks were built.

And yet, Dodge proceeded to push fake stats for the $555,000 motorcycle that had a V10 engine from a Dodge Viper tucked neatly into a gorgeously sleek bullet body. According to Dodge, the concept had 500 horsepower and an estimated top speed of 300 mph. That was never officially tested by Dodge, of course, but the grandeur of the release was all the more spectacular with otherworldly numbers that motor and car enthusiasts alike could gawk over. None of it makes sense, but when you look at the overall package, everything fits perfectly together.

One of these wildcards is currently lavishly living in Los Angeles’ Peterson Automotive Museum, so when I saw it recently, I had no other option than to take as many photos of it as possible. Enjoy.
