There is only one way to get good fuel economy and a vehicle that is fun to drive:

MOTORCYCLE!

A ZX-10R or GSX-R100 will outrun any production car and get 35+ MPG.

Personally, I like the Triumph speed triple. A bit slower, but much sexier.
