Mine is a Quad Cab as well and I tried to tap into my rear speakers, because they are easier to access, but then I had very little bass from the sub
. I had read that the Infinity amp has crossovers for each speaker location and the front door speakers and the only speakers that have 100% of thelow frequencies. Turnsout, like most times, the "short cut" takes moretime when doing a good job.
I had originally thought about putting the amp under the seat but I was worried about snowy/muddy boots kicking the amp, do you have that problem, or was I being paranoid?
