Lights Pulsing while Driving an 2005
I am new to this fourm and thought I would pass on this issue to see if others are having the same problem.
My 2005 Caravan SXT has a slight pulsation of ALL lights while running at idle and the pulse increases in frequency slighty as the engine RPM increases. This is only noticable at night. But it is starting to drive me crazy after a few hours of night driving.
It has been back to the dealer twice for this and they cannot find the cause and will not do any more testing until we have failure of the offending part. My bet is the altinator bridge rectifier is going south!
Does any one else have this issue!

My 2005 Dodge GC since we bought it I would notice at night that the odometer and PNR321 would flicker lightly at idle. Then at about 26,000 miles (2 months ago), the van was harder to start. So I replaced the stock battery with a Die Hard Gold and cleanned the battery terminals. So far all good and no more flickering. Starts real fast too.

We have a 2006 Grand Caravan SXT with the same problem. It has been in to the dealer twice for this problem. Yesturday they replaced the battery. It seemed to be OK last night when we picked it up, however this morning it happened to my wife again. I called the Service Manager this morning & he'stelling me that what they see is normal fluctuation. I told him that getting brighted by oncoming cars isn't normal. Any ideas? Thanks.

Here is some information from the star oline from chrysler. In somecases turning on the rear defroster or heater blower motor causes the illumintion problem to go away. Additionaly in same cases, while driving, the engine will surge at the same time the lamp flicker or flash is occuring. Normally there are no codes. Here is there recommendation. Test the battery and replace if needed.

Thanks, the battery had been just replaced. We noticed our problem after they replaced the wire harness for the left power sliding door & I did mention that to them. After waiting2 weeks for the service manager to call back, I called him to find outhe is off today!
