RE: hemi mds
It was 06, I have it in my truck and I dont know about anyone else here, but personally I think the mds sucks. I bought my truck because it had an V8 Hemi, not a 4 cylinder. Plus I put a catback exhaust and it sounds like crap when the mds kicks in. Maybe inthe charger or the 300 it could make a difference, but not in a 5500 lb truck thats a foot off the ground. And if anyone is complaining about gas mileage, don't buy a full size truck,it's like buying a Viper, Ferrari, Lambo, etc.and complaining you're not getting 25 mpg.

Ha. Maybe if you didn't have a Flowmaster Super 44 SI/DO it wouldn't bother you. It doesn't bother me with my magnaflow. Flowmasters don't sound good with MDS. I can barely tell and stock you definitely can't tell.
Your post clearly shows your ignorance. When you need power, you have all 8 cylinders. If you even step on it a little you're in 8 cylinder mode. The transition is lightning quick. The MDS only kicks in when it's flat or downhill and when you're cruising (as in no gas at all) or barely touching the gas. When I drive down the road at 35 - 40 in cruise, I'm in 4 cylinder mode, saving some gas... but as soon as I stomp on it it's in V8 mode faster than you can blink.
