Default problem with front wipers

Something weird happened today with the wipers. For whatever
reason they stopped working. The rear wiper works, but I get no
response when I try to use the washer nozels or use any of the
settings on the wiper speed. The blinkers work so I'm thinking that it
might be a short in the system or a bad wiper motor.

Anyone had anything similar happen? Thoughts? Possible repair
costs? Recall notices?

Thanks,
Josh!

I have had a similar problem with my wipers. The rear one worksfine, but whenI try to use the front wipers with the washer fluid, the wipers run butthe nozzlesdon't spray. I know there is plenty of washer fluid, and there is some connection still working since the blades move...

Someone suggested to me that maybe there was a loose connection, but we couldn't find anything apparently wrong.

So, sorry I don't really have anything helpful except that I am in the same boat, and would appreciate any advice you get.

Thanks,

I took it to the dealer today and they said that it is a short in the
wiper motor. They said that the wipers would move to a certain point
and then blow the fuse. Their solution: Replace the motor, and see if
that fixes it. Luckily for me, it is covered under my extended
warranty. Just a $50 detuctable.

Sorry Abby it doesn't sound like this info will be any help.
