Default Dual "Cold" Air Intake

I found these guys nosing around on the web. Its a V-shaped dual intake. As with most "cold air" intakes it not really because of no heat shield. But with a hood with a functional hood scoop it should be better. It has a "cool-factor" of 9.9 in my book. Its from PRO ZEN MOTORSPORTS priced around $225-$235. http://gindoyr.tripod.com/prozen.html

hey ive also been researching a dual intake system. but all ive seen just open up into the engine compartment to suck in the heat. i think it is going to have to be a custom solution to get it pulling the air from elsewhere whether it be hood, grill, or sides.

ponder this... dual intakes as pictured above but each one running an e-Ram electric turbo

Pretty damn cool!. Esp the video of it floating in air. I have thought about the electric fan a long time ago before i put a 671 blower on a 68 camero i had. The only thing that stopped me was how to regulate the speed during acceleration. They came up with the ingenious idea ONLY OPERATE IT AT FULL THROTTLE. Damn if i had only though of that 20 years ago I could be selling fans for $300 hahahaha

there is a cool setup available for Ram's (and other applications), check it out.

http://www.ramairbox.com/product.html

I saw a guy who combined a Mopar performance air cleaner lid with this box... really cool. I did have a pic of it but by HD @ work (the one with the link) died & lost em all... I will look again for it.

I thought about doing this to my Ram, but believe it is all show... not much go, hard to insulate the filters.

I found online once a hemi engine intake system, just like the origional with the shaker cover and dual hoses that you have to run down to your front bumper to get cold air. I want to find it again but forgot the website. Anyone possibly know what site it is?

While that looks cool, that are in a bad position, directly above the exhaust manifolder, lots of warm air in the area heading straight up.

That looks cool, but it would clog with snow in the winter by the looks of it.
