Gas millage and glass pack
Hey all,
I`m thinking about getting a glass pack for my 2002 sxt Neon and I was wondering what it would do to my gas millage? I`m going to be driving 70 miles one way to college 3-5 days a week and gas millage is VERY important to me! Does anyone know of any mods to be done to the Neon to help with gas millage? I put new plugs and wires on. Also what are you all getting? Around town/country driving I`m only getting 23 but I have a new oxygen sensor I`m getting put on in the next few days so hopefully that will help. I got 25 when I got my Neon it had about 65,000 on it then and it now has 86,000. Anything else that I an do to help with gas millage? Thanks!

RE: Gas millage and glass pack
yea there is a few things....
1) Royal Purple Oil - It add HP and reduces drag on the motor drammatically compared to other oils, only downside is it is pretty expensive....
2) Cruise Control - If you dont have it GET IT NOW! when i use my cruise control for a long trip and i dont put my foot into it, i get 29-31 mpg AMAZZZZING!
3) Go the Speed Limit - It does help, I tried it one week and I drive 25 miles one way to school roughly 3-5 days a week...
4) Search this section for "gas milage" you should find a thread that was posted that was pretty lengthy and was 100% dead on
