A whole lot. The Charger is an intermediate size car (AKA: B-body) and the Challenger is a smaller car (AKA: E-body). A lot of the mechanical and interior parts are the same between the two, engines, transmissions, suspension components, front seats, dash, gauges, door panels, etc. Here is a picture of a '73 Charger followed by a picture of a '73 Challenger:
