Default Official MPG 4th Gen Thread

Please use the template below.

If you are driving down the highway and hit reset on your computer then say I am geting 18.2MPG with a 40% highway and 60% city you are not helping. That would be 100% highway in that case. Try to post based on burning full tank of fuel, in other words reset your overhead at fill up and run almost the entire tank. This way computer MPGs can be compared to hand calcs.

If we follow the template and basic rules this can be a very informative post. If not it will just end up being BS.

Default 2007 Ram ThunderRoad 5.7L Hemi 20 inch Tires

All stock
I get ~15-16 mpg driving back and forth to work (mostly rural). Just took it to Florida and only got 17-18mpg (all interstate). I wanted a little more, but I'll take it.
Computer calc.

Year - 09
Model - Sport Quad Cab
Engine - 5.7
Highway percent - 80%
City percent - 20%
Location - Pensacola, Florida
Octane - 89 and 92. No difference. 92 one tank. 89 all the time now.
Hand or computer calc - Both
Miles on truck - 6026
MPG - 14.5 going 78 mph interstate. 20.5 long runs at 45 to 55 easy as I can drive. Averages 16.5 most all the time.
Mods - True Flow intake, 24" mufflex,
Tried the predator, both tunes. Both tunesmade mpg worse. No noticibale difference in power. Several new problems. Back to stock tune. I suggest not buying the Predator YET.
20" rims with OEM tires
3:92 gears. My other 2009 with 3:55 did much better on gas and was a heavier crew cab 4x4.
