With all of the innovatinos and additions to the new Ram (read more about them here), what would you liked to have seen added to the Ram 1500 lineup?

For me, its simple...a 6.1 in the Ram R/T..preferably looking like the B5 Blue Mopar Ram R/T Concept.

I like the features, but I do wish the overall package was smaller. The truck is bigger than it needs to be and too tall as well. The biggest disappointment was the back seat of the 09 quad is 2 inches less leg room than the 02-08 models, but the 09 truck is longer overall. It does not utilize space as well as the previous gen.

+1

I also wish the box was 78 inches, so most sportbikes and atvs would fit in without having to leave the tailgate open

Offering only the 5 foot 7 inch bed on the crew cab is also a bit weird

They spent so much time in adding all these fancy details, which i really like the truck but have not bought yet because nervous of the ecomomy and I drive 80 miles to 100 miles a day, but why can't someone come up with a truck that can get 20 plus mpg city and 25 hyw with 4x4 also. We have been making engines just like this going back 40 years and they cannot even improve mileage from the 60s and 70s. I don't get it. I just sold my 08 Tundra to buy this truck. Unfortunatly by the time my truck sold Dodge took away from there deal. Could of bought for $13000 off then plus 0 for 48 months. Now only $11500 off and 0-48. It is big. I would like to see them make one that rides this good with the size of the tacoma with 25 mpg.

25mpg? seriously? this is a huge heavy vehicle.

the internal combustion engine is still really not efficient no matter what you do to it. wait a few years until the hybrids come out.

I wish the floor was 100 % flat, Front and back ( no transmisson hump ) and the seats are no dam good, I'm in and out my 06 2500 a lot, I have found the seats on the 09 Ram, are no better than my 06 2500.

I also would like side opening doors in the box, why just load the truck from the rear?

And I want a Full size Suv, ie ramcharger based on the 09 Ram, the aspen and durango are not that great looking.

And I want a microwave oven, washer and dryer, I'm they started with the cooler idea, great for the beers, but lets go all the way !!!!

Okay, back to the real world, a inverter 110 volt, so I can plug in the tools at the job site, Dodge could really step up the options for the working guys...
