Default 2003 intrepid power steering problem

when i replaced the 2.7 engine i figured i would change the alt and power steering pump while i was doing that. anyways the pump makes a wineing sound, i have tried bleeding the system by turning the wheel back and forth a million times and it does no good, it really sounds like crap and is kinda hard to steer like its low on fluid. i have replaced the pump with another new one and its doing the same thing.

What am i doing wrong?

well i looked at the lines and they didnt look bent or anything, i also blew air through the line and it shot fluid out.

so i took it to the dealer today and its acting like its building air somewere because when you shut it off it forces fluid out the top and there is alot of bubbles in the fluid.

This is the 3rd pump i have bought , so they are going to take it off and look at it, but if it needs one im going to get a new factory pump instead of autozone crap i have been getting.

I really dont know what else it could be, the power steering worked just fine until i changed the pump, so you would think it would be the pump

I WOULD HAVE FILLED THE PUMP AND THEN SPUN IT TO PRIME IT BY HAND FIRST. Let me know what they find out.

well i got it fixed, the problem was a crappy o ring between the pump and resivor. It leaked a little bit and was causing air to build in the system.

thanks for the help
