Default Body Lift install

I am wanting to install a 3 inch body lift on my '99 and was wondering what the best way to do it is.

If you have done it what was the easiest way to do it, Is there anything that needs to be changed on the truck?

It has a 5 inch lift already and a 4 inch add a leaf and 2 inch coil spacers are on order. The front lift was more than the back so i wanted to make the rear higher(total of 10 inch front and probably 11 in or so int he rear) i will be lenghtening the driveshaft, getting a drop pitman arm and a transfercase drop kit. (its got long enough break lines)

Anything else you guys can think of

And ill be putting 40 inch tires or so depending on what clearance i have if i can id have 44s

If you haven't already, you need to upgrade to 1 ton or better axles.

New gears and 1 tons. That's about all I can think of.

Edit: Well depends on what tires you may want to consider upgrading your steering as well. What kind of trans does it have? Manual or Auto??

its got a auto trans and is being rebuilt right now with all new gears and shift kit and torque converter and all.

I have heard so much of what can go wrong with a body lift and people saying the bolts can break and blah blah blah. But installed correctly they should be fine. And for it being top heavy just slow down, no biggy.

So new gears are in the near future but i have been looking for 1 tons but have yet to find some so once i can find some 1 tons ill find the gears for it.

So im thinking the body lift, tires, AAD, and coil spacers will be done in probably 2 months or so...

Suspension lifts raise the CG more than an equal body lift. I'm not a fan of body lifts but you do what you have to.
