I need to replace my transmission crossmember, cushion/rear support on my 1997
Dodge Ram 1500 2WD Club Cab. I snagged a stump and bent it back a bit. It appears simple enough? Support Vehicle on jack stands, support transmission, remove crossmember, cushion/rear support ? There may be a few minor tasks I left out but I wanted to be brief. I would like to know if there is anything major/critical I should know. I found a crossmember at a local auto salvage yard, but having a time finding the rear support/cushion. The cushion has broke apart between where it attaches to the crossmember and rear support. I may can "glue" this back together temporarily while attaching the rear support back to the transmission and the crossmember to the cushion/rear support.
