Well there are signs and symptoms for several rear end problems. Some might be minor in nature or could be a major repair. Some common problems vibrations that can't be attributed to anything else. Possible cause could be a pinion bearing going out. Or if it is a locker type it could be the clutch packs coming apart. If it is a locking type differential and it feels like it binds some in a sharp turn then it could be that it needs to be serviced and limited slip additive added to it. Since you didn't describe what yours was doing it is hard to say what could be wrong with it. I would suggest having it serviced. It will shed some light on what it could be. Look for metallic pieces on the magnet on the bottom of the housing after the fluid is drained. A good inspection of the
gears and fasteners can be helpful.

I have a 01 5.9 off road edition. When im in 4 wheel drive Low and i turn the front of the truck will hop, as if its skipping gears. I can be doin 2 MPH and it does it. So i lied its the front diff and i have 4:10. It dosnt do it near as bad in 4H but in 4L its horriable. Any ideas what it might be?

That's normal. It's the front tires binding up, which it will always do when turning on a surface with good traction. It's just more noticeable in 4WD Lo because more torque is making it to the wheels.

Agree. I bet if you were in sand or in mud you wouldn't even notice. When you turn, all the wheels want to go different speeds on account of the distance they need to travel. (outside vs inside thing). The slow wheels kinda spool up and spin to catch up.
I assume no noises or any other problems.
