I've run 33's and 35's, and I thought my truck wheeled better with the 33's. I had a 3" suspension lift only at the time, and that was always sufficent ground clearance for what I did. The light tire made a noticable difference in the agility. If you need a lot of flex though, then the 5" lift is probably better then the 3" lift. I know a guy who runs 5" lift with 33's, and he flexes the hell out of it. I think if you didn't mind the look of the smaller tire with that much lift, that combo is a good off-road combo.
