Default ram v10 performance parts

im rebuilding my '01 ram 8l v10 motor and im lookin for some internal performance parts like cam, lifters, rocker arms, and hardware like head bolts. because my plan is to build a motor that is pretty much bullet proof and im wantin to go all out but completely drain my bank account. but if any of yall know of any good performance parts that are available for me to get plz let me know!! and any other performance parts will work too!!

A stock V10 can do that all by itself.

Welcome to the world of the Mopar V10. Unfortunantly there isn't a lot of aftermarket upgrade options.
Guess you could do a bore and port and polish, but that's about it.
Please post up if you find something else for them though.

You need to be careful there, I think that the v10 in your truck is not the same design as the SRT-10 motors.

i think so too kuz somethin jus dont seem right kuz i looked at the rpm ranges on the cams and one i think went a lil over 6 grand and you dont want the 8 liter to go over 5800! kuz then catastrophe happens!!

There is very little shared between the aluminum Viper V10 and the cast iron truck V10. The truck motor is a low RPM torque monster whereas the Viper is a high RPM horsepower demon.

by far am i an v10 expert but i was under the impression that the viper v10 heads and the ram v10 heads were completely different, i was thinking about a few upgrades myself but i'm not looking to convert my torque monster ram v10 into a horse pounding viper v10, but msd has an ignition box (62152) which i seen on their website but i'm wondering if this is going to mess up the computer?
