Question performance for the V10

before i get to the performance side i was wondering is there a difference in transfer case's between an auto and a manual transmission? i'm wanting to swap tranny's once i find a donor truck but if i find one that isn't 4x4 will my transfer case hold up? now to my thought, i know theres not much of a difference between the magnum v10 and the viper v10, heads, intake and cam if i'm not mistaken are the only difference in the two, heres what i was thinking, could you take the ecm from a viper or srt10 and use it on the magnum? this is far fetched i know, its just something i was thinking about, besides finding a wrecked one is probably next to impossible.

there are two different t-cases, a DLD and a DHD, no real big differences but the input and output shafts are different. (bigger in the HD) and both trannys used both t-cases, just depends on what setup you have...as far as viper vs. magnum parts i have no idea, but i went for the ultimate performance upgrade with my v-10 (see sig.)

thats what i went for, picked up the v10 for $7500, ($10,000 cheaper than the cummins) then was just patient untill i found a doner, and did the conversion, twice the fuel milage and three times the power.

There's more differences than just the alloy used. The truck V10 is a low rpm torque engine with low compression. The Viper motor is a high revver with higher compression. The PCMs are not interchangeable.
