Default change camshaft sensor

As the title states, i have a 07 durango with a 4.7 flex. I got a code for p0340 for the cam sensor. Has anyone changed this part before? Where exactly is it located on the engine. Autozone gave me the code and offered to sell me the part right there, but i don't want to dive into something that will be a big pita! any help would be great.
Thank you

An 07? How many miles do you have on it? Should be a warranty repair.

Since when did a 2007 only have 36000 mile warranty?

The seller should have disclosed that at the time of purchase. Mine is a three year or 36,000 mile warranty,

Haven't changed it, but I've seen it. It's mounted at the front of the head on the passenger side. I pulled my valve cover b/c I have rockers that popped off, and saw the cam sensor plate inside -- and then saw the sensor mounted on the head. Dunno how it's mounted, but my guess is it screws in somehow.

I don't recall how difficult it is to replace. I had to pull the airbox to get to my valve cover, that might be the best way to get to the sensor.

Disclaimer - this is for a 2002, but it's still a 4.7 motor. Hope this is helpful.
