Default Sport Tow Hook Install with Pics

I did a lot of searching after reading confusing reports that Sports could not be fitted with factory tow hooks, and since I really need them I thought I'd give it a try. The problem comes in with the little insert in the fascia, it is unique to the Sport and must be cut out. The instructions don't show where to cut so I thought I'd post some pics on how I did mine. Otherwise they bolt up the same as any other Ram.

I should add that this is a 2010 Canadian market Sport, not sure if there is any difference between it and 09 or 10 US models.

I thought I read somewhere as well that you could buy the insert already cut out for under $10

I'm eventually going to do this mod as well. I just simply want the hooks there. Even tho i DID buy a sport, i still want my truck to be as utilitarian as possible without comprimising looks. This mod is NOT a compromise in looks to me.
In addition i think eventually down the road i'll also be adding additional HID fogs closer inside in that same fascia. I bought a set of low's and fog HID's from the dude on the other board and they ROCK, and i think adding ANOTHER set of fogs would just make the road in front of my truck look like the surface of the sun with ONE MORE set of fogs...

Edited to add:

The road aleady looks like the surface of the sun now but i want it even brighter ! ..

I did too, but after some searching I think they are talking about the insert already cut for trucks with factory tow hooks and it's a different shape than the one used on the Sport which from what I know cannot be ordered with factory hooks.

Very good question. I would like to have a pair in my toolbox if they just bolt right up. I can pop off the fasicia, install one, and recover away!

The kit from Mopar is $140, to mount the hooks you remove 2 bumper mounting nuts on each side, slide the hooks with brackets into place put the bumper nuts back and add the supplied bolt that goes into the bottom of the frame on both the left and right hook, this whole thing takes 15 minutes including removing the fascia insert. Then cut the fascia as described above, this takes about a half hour.
