Default Turn Signal Light replacement

I have an 08 Dodge Caliber (~26K Miles) and the left turn signal is going out. For two days now when I use the left turn signal (not every time) a single chime is heard, no light on the instrument panel illuminates, and the blinker indicator light on the panel flashes very quickly. The blinker still works on the car it also blinks quickly. My husband would like to replace this part himself as taking it in will be more expensive. Does anyone know how to change out the light bulb? There are no instructions int he owners manual-it refers you to the dealer, and we just replaced the light in his Ram 1500 and it was a slight pain! Any help is appreciated-Thanks!

There have been a number of posts on different Caliber
forums regarding the changing of both headlight and turn
signal bulbs and the general consensus is the only way
to do it is undoing the wheel well liner and pushing out of the way.
It is also the method decscribed in the Caliber service manual.

Wow, these things aren't so user friendly for bulbs are they?
