yes i would not suggest maaco. one of my buddies had his truck painted there. and it basically looks like they took a spray paint can and sprayed his truck over. [:@]

Heeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllls 2da naw with Maaco I agree stay away from their high prices and low quality. Our shop got a connect with this dude that live down the street from me so I'm gonna go there. But yeah thanks for tellin me that cuz i was gonna wait till I saved up and get the car candy painted but when I found out it will rust through the body like it did with my sunroof, now I gotta get on it. I can do my own body work I juts can't piant it. How long will primer hold out till its time for me to get it repainted. Im just gonna be cheap and do the roof.

You guys are right. I am not going to Maaco. One of my friends agreed to help me paint my car.

All I need now is find black clearcoat paint.

Do you think it is worth repainting the entire car?

Yeah if you repaint it then sell it you'll get more money cuz sum ppl when they see new paint they think new car. How long do you plan to keep the car?

I am planning to keep it for another year. What I really want is to fix that clearcoat issue. That's all.

Really depends on how much you want to spend. the customer is always right so, sum shops will just prolly sand, prime and repaint ur bad spots its cheaper if its a part that you can remove like a hood or spolier also if you do the sanding and priming yourself. So shops won't allow you to buy your own paint because they say it might mess up their guns. If you live in a snowy area, or near the ocean I would get it done if not you'll be ok for another year.

Igot quoted for $2,400 for a repaint plus headlights and has a lifetime warranty. Hows that sound?
