Default Avenger v8 rear wheel drive?

does anyone remember a magazine article almost ten years ago about converting an Avenger to rear wheel drive? or happen to have the series of articles about this

It involved adapting a Daytona/Shelby Charger RWD conversion kit from Direct Connection
You will Also need an Eclipse GSX gas tank to allow the driveshaft to get to the rear
There is no "kit" for the motor mounts you'll have to fab up your own mount kit dependant on what motor/tranny you use , same goes with fabbing a tranny hump for the tranny
Also fabbing up a mustang II Rack/pinion and steering gear to get her to turn ...
Definately NOT for the faint of heart as almost everything will be custom ...

I've got the Direct Connection kit and a donor Venge , just no time to play

Couldn't it be done a little easier by useing a full frame dodge mini from the early 80's? already set up for rwd,-all the mods would be made to the frame of the truck, channel body on frame, good to go?

The Venge is a unibody , to try to put the Frame of the mini it'll sit like a 4X4 ON TOP of it and generally look like crap ....Bodydropping would be hard to chop up the entire floor pan and drop it 8+ inches to cover the frame

This will give you an example of a WELL DONE V8 conversion
