Default 1995 Avenger 2.0

Having an issue with this vehicle.Rough idle, stalling and no start when hot.threw an EGR code, replaced EGR to no avail.Anyone have an answer as to where to go next?Strangely enough,my buddy says when it won't start when hot,he pours water on the engine and it starts until warm again.Where can I start?

I'd really suggest not doing that

Then suggest how to fix the problem Killa.I know better than to pour cold water on a hot engine.

you never mentioned the type or temperature of water, just that you poured it on the engine.... so i figured i would point out its not the greatest of ideas just in case you didn't know.

As you your problem i agree with bad venge it sounds like the cps. If its new replace it again and see if you managed to get a bad one in the bunch. If the "new" new one still doesn't fix it take it back and we'll figure something else out.
