Front Brake locks up

Hello all! I was wondering if anyone has had this problem before or has any suggestions.

Heres the problem:
Under normal circumstances my brakes work with no problem. However during heavy stop and go and after a few months of time (gets worse the longer i go without doing some kind of brake maintenance) my front driver side brake will start locking up. During stop and go its a slow progression that usualy ends up with it locking up so much that it drasticly affects drivability. it typicly goes away after 10 or so minutes of idle time of during a long drive that involves little to no braking.

I have already replaced the caliper several times and am very confident this is not the issue but resurve the right to be wrong.

ABS or Non ABS ???

Non ABS. its a 96 5 spd.

did you lube the slide pins??? did you replace them in the correct position ???

Yup. everything was installed properly. I get the feeling that its caused by a problem with the fluid returning from the caliper. anytime I work on that brake I spend a massive amount of time pushing the piston back in so that it fit around new pads. I've actually broken 2 C clamps forcing it back in. I don't have that problem on the other side. It was suggeted to me that I check for a kink in the hose but I have not found one.

Kink would also hinder pressure going OUT to the brake ... and diminished braking ...
you do realize the slide pins are different (one has a nylon tip and is longer) many have put them in wrong and it causes strange troubles ...

It could be a master cylinder trouble ...

Interesting. None of my pins have nylon on them that i can recall. That could be the issue there. Were does the longer one go in?

I was thinking it could be the master cylinder but I know very little about how that functions so I didn't want to jump to any conclusions.

It has a number on the bolt and the bolt # is stamped on the caliper
