I have a 1998 Dodge Avenger 2.5 V6 that was given to me by my mom. She's drove it probably 2 years using a screwdriver as a key. Long story short, I replaced the steering column, and the car started fine and ran for about 10 minutes. I backed up a few feet, pulled back up, and turned the key off. Now when I turn the key, it won't turn over and there is only a click from behind the radio. Dash lights, windows, headlights all work, and the headlights don't dim when i turn the key over (which I was told means theres a bad connection, not a bad starter). Any suggestions? I'm at my wits end.
