Yes, I used my voltmeter to test pin 4 and where I tried grounding to the chassis.

Peonu2, take a peak at your other post in the Durango section. I moved it to the 3rd Gen Dakota section, you'll get better help there for Dakotas.

I lost the copys to my car 09 charger will this work if i buy a set from ebay or do i need the original key my email is rdptrix@aol.com thanks in advance

Will this work if you lost both of the keys for 09 charger i was planing to buy a set from ebay please email me at rdptrix@aol.com

So this method will work to program a new second remote. All the places that sell replacement remotes say you need 2 working remotes?

This is for a 2008 Avenger.

Default 2005 dakota

Anyone have the way to program a 2005 dakota? this guide doesnt work. I dont have a pin 1, and if you look for the blue wire I have it on pin 3. I cannot get it to program a new fob.
