Default dome light issues

ok so my dome light sometimes works when the doors open and sometimes it doesnt.....sometimes it will work with the passenger door only and sometimes its the driver door only. sometimes it only works if the truck is on.....not sure if these are all coincidences or what ive been dealin with this issue for a while i figured it was a simple bulb or loose connection but i am now officially stumped lol

It may just be bad switches. Next time it doesn't work mess with the switch and see if it comes on.
They are cheep. $2 each or so.

You could have a bad head light dimmer switch in the dash. I had to replace mine cause the head lights would flicker and the dome light would take a few seconds to turn on.

You may have a bad power feed. Check the wires.
