Was just readin the newest installment. Appears as if the EngineQuest replacement heads are the way to go, but they chose th MP aluminum Magnums to save some weight. They admit they suck in the bang-for-the-buck deal, wasn't that the point of the build,to do it cheap? Maybe they had them just sitting around for free? If I had access to the inventory I'd be lookin at upgradin to a 408 stroker by now!! Three kids, renovating an old farm house.... this might take awhile, it can be done

This is a great write up. I am planning on installing the LSD this summer, and I learned a lot from this.

Okay part 4 is finally up. It's on the first post. Sounds like the stock magnum heads are good for stockers!

are enginequest iron heads the same as the "iron ram" heads on hughes?
