I'm near Detroit.
I grew up in Ohio - emissions state. The cars had to get checked every other year. One year less than a week after passing emissions, my muffler fell off my Jeep. Just fell off and plopped in my front yard. It got a little louder, but I just ran it like that for a few months. My 4-cyl Wrangler needed all of the help it could get.
I am close to Beaumont Texas in a little town called Groves. I will post some pics tomorow because it is dark right now. I just got it back from paint shop last friday so it is looking good except for the tires.
