Use a host like photobucket to upload them and then copy/paste them into your post.

Try creating an album under your profile on here and use copy/paste.

What OS and browser are you using?

Is there a basic photo editing program you can use to shrink the picture size on your computer? I know my camera is a 10 mega pixle camera, which makes pictures HUGE, and I usually shrink them down to about 15-20% of their original size before I try to upload them.
