Default 3.9L Mods

So i have been thinking of things i can do to my mag V6 since its out. The stoke Bore/Stoke is 3.91x3.31in. If you stroke an engine you have to get new connecting rods correct? i want to do a .030 over bore but i dont know if i should keep stock stoke or not? What do you guys think.

Thanks

Aside from locating those two missing cylinders...
I don't know much about internal stuff we can do to it, V8 throttle bodies are popular.

I agree on those missing cylinders lol. Its just for the cost of gathering a 5.2L mag and components i could just mod my mag V6 since i got it for close to free. I do want to build a 390 from a 318 but not for this truck. I found fare priced pistons stoked and none. I just dont know what all is apart of stroking vs keeping stock stroke?? What do you know about V8 throttle bodys?

So upon further reading i answered my own question. If i want to bore the block and get sroker pistons i have to get a stroker crank haha duh. So i think im just going to do a .030 overbore and get some better connecting rods and keep stock stoke and she should have some more power . I will post on this as soon as i get her down to the block and bored hopefully this weekend i will strip her down.

if your gunna bore it, why not make it a stroker? your going through the work and your gunna have everything apart already.... stroker kits arent THAT expensive...

Well because its a V6 i dont know where i can get a stroker crank for it? And i dont know if its internally or externally balanced? And the price is almost twice between the two? If you know where i can get one i might do it.

I don't think you can. Unless you get a chop saw and cut off 2 cly section. Internal I beleive. It is the same as a 5.2. I belive http://www.hughesengines.com/Index/index.php has V6 performance parts.

I'm also interested in the V8 TB's. How much would I gain by dropping one on my Mag V6?
