It may be due to loosing HP due to more miles. But most likely because of a different street with different traction, like a road that is not as smooth or it may have less oil on the road then before, or the temperature of the tires and road or the air pressure in the tires. And the brakes could have adjusted differently so you can't make it slip. Lots of variables.
Try driving up to a curb a tall enough one. Put your front tires against it. Then in gear go for it. So you don't have to use the brakes to hold the truck back.

Hell, i did 3 unintentionaly yesterday when it was and had been raning, the first one was in the morning while it was raining and it moved forward a bit and the ass end just moved towrd the right and faced me left a bit and the other two were in the after noon and i sent it up to 30MPH and the last one i did was in front of a cop and these were all in the intersection of streets
i suppose black smoke coming from the exhast isnt good, what would cause this because that? well it happend today when i floored it lol, i have the injected 3.9L in mine.
It will smoke a little bit of black smoke if you have a lot of carbon built up in your cylinders, but if it was a continuous black smoke, then like said above, too much fuel.
