Default clunking noise help!!

hey everyone heres what happened i just put some A/Ts on the rear of my 96 4cyl 5spd and i was next to my brother and was messing with him and i dumped the clutch and the tire chirped a sec and then i heard loud clunking and the truck was jerking, now its clunks and jerks when i take off and all the way through 3rd and its really bad around turns, my U-joints look fine, and my motor and tranny mounts look fine, also you can hear the noise the best from the right rear, any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

did you check your wheel cylinders? i was at the track last year and was running a bit sluggish and after one of my runs on the way back i felt a pop and there was a lot of clunking in the back end. turned out i blew the left rear wheel cylinder.

im going to do that but i almost dont think its that how is a worn out 4 popper gonna damage even a KIA rear lol, and ive noticed that even with the parking brake on the e brake light on the cluster is not on, and i was taking a right turn and i heard the wheel chirping i think it may be the right brake and the wheel is hoping and thats why its doing that it kinda makes sense and it kinda doesnt lol

pull the cover and see if you can find anything inside. look for damage on the gears inside. If i recall from the reading i've done there should be some form of a magnet inside there. Check and see if there is anything on that magnet.

Sux if its rear diff issue; thats one of my next projects that i am not totally looking forward to :-/

Let us know what you find.
