I have a 96 Dakota slt and I HATE the side mirrors for it. Has anyone put another years mirrors on? Or could someone reply with measurments? I was looking into 94-01 ram tow mirrors but wanna know if they would fit or if it would be to much trouble to get them to work.

 

I didn't realize how spoiled I was with my first Dakota. I just bought a '90 4WD base that has the small black 5" x 7" mirrors and I have a hard time seeing much of anything out of the passenger mirror.

My '90 2WD base, oddly enough, has the big chrome blingy mirrors as shown in the last two truck photos at the link below. Check those out and see if they're an option for you - I think they look a bit funny, but they're much, much easier to see out of.

I don't like how those look. I'm going to find some flip out mirrors and see if they won't be to bad fitting them .

 

Oh, I don't like them either, but they're functionally way better than the small black 5x7 version. I was just giving you the other factory option that was available since you asked.
