Unhappy I Mest Up! Please Help

So today as I was pouring my engine coolant to the radiator, I began to have a leak just as I poured it in. I followed the leak which was close to the lower left side of the water pump. Turns out, I forgot a bolt that goes through the timing chain cover, and now engine coolant started gushing out of there. I have no idea what to do next. What should I do? Remove the whole timing chain cover to figure out what was the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Just replace that bolt after putting thread sealant on it - also, that bolt right above it needs thread sealant on it.

Both of those penetrate into the water jacket, so if they're missing, you have this nice 3/8" (or so) hole in the water jacket. Without the sealant, they'll leak under pressure.

You're welcome.

Thanks for the tip. I did put sealant on it. I guess my problem was forgetting that bolt. Would you care to explain what the water jacket is? Thanks again.

It's the passages for the coolant to flow inside the block.
