Default 42rh transmission

Does anyone know the correct shift points for this transmission?

Mine is going into OD at very low speed and screwing with me. I don;t want to have to keep turning it off manually I am hoping there is an adjustment I can have the guy who rebuilt it last month do.

Thanks

You could first try adjusting the kick down cable at the throttle body. This cable tells the transmission how much load (i.e. throttle input). If it is miss-adjusted the transmission thinks that you are not trying to accelerate so it will put it into the higher gear more quickly. If i remember correctly you push the button on the side of the block that holds the kickdown cable at the throttlebody cable bracket and then open the throttle plates to wide open with the other hand. Once the throttle is wide open, then release the button on the kickdown cable bracket.
