Since i work just about everyday, i dont have alot of time to do a complete resto on a vehicle.....maybe in a different life. This truck, 114k no rust, a bit different vs say a 66 c10 stepside (something i was looking to purchase until this popped up). not too much $$ spent. My goal is to drive something that fairly easy to work on if it needs something done, also something that my 14 yr old maybe can grow into. first time cars arent what they used to be. my first car cost me 1500 (72 340 duster) now you cant buy anything really for that. Sold my old 73 vw convert and this is the replacement. pretty much a wash $$ wise. trying to find out as much as i can about these....not sure how many are still out there. maybe 800 beds made?? total?? anyway, those are my thoughts as of now. my kids all like drivin around in it....much more than bug. maybe cause its new....we'll see in a couple of months
