Default A-518 to 46RH Swap

My '92 Dakota has the A-518 trans, but it's dead. I found a '95 with a recently-rebuilt 46RH. Will it be a straight across swap, or not? I've seen some posts regarding differences with the torque converter, and possibly the speedo cable.
I'm no expert, let alone a mechanic. Any insights?

The guy with the '95 claims there is a kit to make this swap work. Has anyone heard of this?

The 46rh is an A518 with updates. From factory, your 92 would have came with the 46rh.
The only difference from 92 to 95 is the speed sensor, 92 would be cable driven and the 95 is fully electronic, all you have to do is place your sensor housing onto the transmission.
