Default 94Dak 3.9 AC

Hi, I have pressure coming out the Schraeder valve (no gauge) and the compressor cycles on and off every 10 seconds or so. Warm air only coming out the vents. Does the TSB 24-6-92 apply to the 94 Dak? edit I just realised that if it is sitting still and blowing warm air its probably not the Vacuum line issue I had thought it might be. What does the symptoms I describe indicate other than take it to a shop?

I forgot to mention that the truck never had AC from when I bought it. I was working on getting it running right and finally had the tranny rebuilt last fall. OK on the AC. I decided that I needed to test it to see if it worked at all. I got an 18oz can of 134A at Harbor Freight which came with a gauge on the filler head not unlike the AC Pro setup with a much shorter tube. When the can was almost empty the compressor started kicking on for longer bits then stayed on and I had cold air. I have since added a 12 oz can to be sure its full as the gauge indicated it could use more. It has gotten colder. I suspect a leak IDK how big but I will probably get it in for inspection depending on how long this cold air lasts. It is possible the guy I bought it from never maintained it as he had no explanation for why it did not work. I had difficulty figuring this out so to save anyone who reads this trouble. The 94 V63.9L Magnum AC connectors, the low pressure connector is in front of the passenger side wheel well left of the coolant overflow above the air intake. If you do not know or are not sure the connectors for high and low pressure are of different sizes and store bought refill can connectors will only fit on the low pressure side.

There is something going off. The motor starts lugging randomly when the AC is on. How does one test for that?

Is the compressor easy to turn over by hand? You should be able to turn the a/c compressor fairly easily, but you will also feel it like pumping. (Obviously engine not running...)

Seems like its doing ok now. I think what I felt was issues caused by the recent tranny rebuild.
