Default Tires

Hi Guys

I have a 94 Dakota Sport 2 wheel drive. I have 215/75/15's on it now. They were on it when my dad gave me this truck. I want to put 235/75/15's on it. I was wondering if anybody ran 235's on their Dakota's? With running 235's will it drop my gas mileage? I know I get crappy mileage now in it.

Thank You

I have 235/75s on my 4wd, tons of clearance. No promises though, but I don't think thats a big enough change in size to cause issues. In reality when dealing with 20+ year old trucks, the are all different based on spring fatigue.

I have a set of Goodyear Wrangler 235/75/R15s on my 2WD Dakota right now. No rub. The truck rides better too. Any difference in gas mileage would be marginal at best.
