Default 3.9 to 5.9 update

Okay as you guys can see things are moving right along. Everything is out and I'm about to go ahead and reseal and paint the 5.9 as well as Fi air gap and a few other little things that are problematic on the 5.9. Going to also run the timing tensioner from Hughes engines I believe. Anyway as of right now I've got a question for some of you that may have some information regarding modifying the v6 harness to run the 5.9. do any of you know how to go about this. I know u just add the injector wires but is there any kind of how to or anything involving this. I have a full 2001 ram harness as well as my v6 Dakota harness.

What year? Are you swapping in a Dakota V8 ecm? The 3.9 is internally balanced and the 5.9 is external...so you'll need to change out the flexplate if you're keeping your transmission.

The 5.9 is a 2001 ram the Dakota is a 96. I'm gonna get a ram pcm that's for a 5.9 manual if I can. And the balancing I've already taken care of I have a 5.9 manual flywheel.
